During this workshop, you'll learn techniques for working and handbuilding with clay slabs. We will provide demos on how to make a building and a person/animal, and you can choose which one to make. Towards the end of the workshop, you can choose to finish your design with a sleek white glaze or to decorate it with some colour!
After the class, we will dry your piece, glaze it, and fire for you. You can pick up your finished work (and an air plant to match it) 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
This class is for students age 16 and older. Class is held at 853 Hiawatha Pl S in Seattle.
