Black-and-white floral vase created using raku firing. Thesevessels are finished with fire, resulting in dramatic crackle and smoke-blackened interiors.
This vase has been sealed and tested for water-tightness. It can hold water for bouquets.
Due to the intense nature of raku, pieces will have variation in the colouring of the glaze, including some sooted areas. These are part of the rugged charm of this style.
