8-week Series: Beginner Wheel (Wednesdays 6-8:30pm starting Sept 3)

This 8-week class series will teach you everything you need to throw beautiful ceramics on the potter's wheel. It is geared towards complete beginners as well as novices who have taken 1-2 beginner courses before. This class is available to individuals age 16 and older. 

You’ll learn how to center clay, pull basic forms like mugs and bowls, trim and refine forms, add handles, and glaze and decorate your pottery. You’ll also learn the basics of the pottery making process and the equipment involved. Class fee includes one bag of clay. By the end of the series, you’ll have 6-8 pieces to take home with you. You will be able to pick up your finished work 2-3 weeks after your last class. 

Class is held weekly on Wednesday, 6-8:30pm, at 853 Hiawatha Pl S in Seattle. 

The first class is on Sept 3rd, with the remaining classes on the next 7 Wednesdays. There are no makeup classes, but each class will start with a brief review of the prior week’s content. Outside of class, students are granted access to the studio 10am-10pm, Tuesday to Sunday (closed Mondays).
